A lot of discussion doing the rounds today about a 68 year old rock star who's partner is expecting twins.
What's your thoughts on men fathering kids at such an age?

A former glamour model had a right cut at him on loose women this morning, asking the question, if he wasn't rich and famous would she really look at him and saying "he isn't actually a hunk is he?" And she'd rather cover her face with a pillow than look at him....bit rich coming from her I thought,

I think that's very harsh and uncalled for.
They are clearly happy and love each other so leave them be.
Not every age gap relationship is going to turn into a carer situation and if it does, you'd care for your wife? So what's the difference? |

He will be 69 when the children are born. It obviously something they talked about. It's the same age difference though between my oldest daughter and my grandmother
My oldest is 18 and my grandmother is 87. When is put like that it does seem not so much wrong but he's not going to see his kids possibly marry and have children of there own. I watched loose women yesterday when it was announced and Katie Price was very harsh over it. But the other presenters was more, if it's what they want. And like one said the age thing and how he won't be around, but no one really knows if they going to be around for there kids young or old.

When you said "former glamour model" I thought you meant that Smith girl or one of the legion of leggy beauties these Rock Gods attract, not that munter Price. The day I listen to her is the day I give up. |

Lol, I just thought it was funny that she was the one throwing the stones (excuse the pun).
I think each to their own and I wish them well. I was interested in the banter on the radio and how some said that it's a men and proving their virility and getting a pat on the back, but if it was a woman over 50 for example, she would be ridiculed.
My only concern is that studies have shown that children born to elderly men have a huge increased risk of being born with or developing certain cancers, epilepsy, mental illness, low IQ, Down's, etc etc. I'm not sure many people actually know this. I could be wrong.

There's no one fit to judge anyone in this world, there's not one of us perfect.
And that Katie Price numpty surely isn't fit to judge.
Their well withing their rights to have kids if they want to, regardless of his age, no he more than likely won't be around to see them grow up and marry but u can be sure he'll make sure his kids will want for nothing whether he's with them or not.

Their well withing their rights to have kids if they want to, pregardless of his age, no he more
than likely won't be around to see them grow up and marry but u can be sure he'll make sure his kids will want for nothing whether he's with them or not.

Yes Tina, they will have everything they want but maybe not all they need. Might even be better off than most who have two parents. As a previous poster says no one knows how long they are going to be here.
On what you said on the judging bit, are you judging Katie?
