I'm fairly new to the area I'm living in and have came to a bit of a social stall, I don't drink unlike most of the county apparently lol its very sparsely populated and I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to meet (not necessarily in the fab sense) some new people

Take a look in the local shops for ads for evening classes. Dance classes in particular are crying out for male participants.
Offer to help in local youth club/community centre/charities or support groups. Again these are usually desperately short of volunteers - just be aware that anything involving minors will involve garda vetting. |
