Just a quick rant and we will move on.

We tried to set up a simply meet and greet group for north Dublin tonight.

We thought that we had six couples and three singles coming to the event.

Not a sinner showed up - except one really nice couple who from start told us they would be late.

No we are not going to get into arguments with people about it - but just want to let all fabbers know - if this lifestyle is just a fantasy to you don't involve genuine couples seeking some fun.

Keep it real !

Dublin

Bunch of wasters. At least have the courtesy to politely decline if you're not interested, or can't make it.

Shit happens sometimes. We all have lives outside of here. But there is no excuse for stringing people along and wasting others time.

So sorry this happened guys.

by a lake with my rod out

as someone who regularly hosts meet and greets if you invite 100 you are lucky if you get 50 to turn. but for for no one to turn up shows a total lack of respect dont let it get to you

That's bad form there is no excuse not to let people know! We sometimes have to change plans at the last minute, but always make this clear to hosts in advance and for this reason,we don't usually attend small get togethers, unless we know we can attend 100% because it ruins the numbers.

Pass on their names to everyone else who organises things so that they will know not to invite them

Shows that they have no common courtesy and are actually blocking genuine people who want to go alsosorry to hear about your party guys

Chin up guys,it was definitely they're loss. Saying that very rude of them to not have let ye know earlier to allow for substitutions. Personally if there is any doubt of us being able to attend an event we wouldn't even ask for an invite.

At least ye met one nice couple though but instances such as these can be very disheartening.

I reiterate though, it was definitely their loss xxx

North Cork

Some people have no manners. If a person makes a commitment, he or she should do their utmost to show up. I an understand if there is no chemistry, but a no show is rude.

Don't always agree with Jasper but on this one I do 100%

Or maybe they all have the same granny that died

If so my condolences

Rant totally understandable, I'd seen that advertised and would have requested to join ye but it clashed with a party. Try to brush it off if ye can

Had seen this advertised and was very interested except that the Saturday night didn't suit me. I had hoped the regular north Dublin thing would go well for future reference.

Such a shame.

So I'd appreciate a list of the no shows so I can take note. I think this is a category for reporting too though nothing can actually be done about it.

Single guys usually are the source of ills on here however I think couples profiles are typically way more flaky . I believe the root cause of this high level of flakiness in couples is that the majority of couples on here are in fact just the male part of the couple driving the profile and dreaming . How many times have you had a couple ask Oh yes tell me what you would do to her ?

Sorry to hear ye were let down guys, I'd also love to hear of the no shows - although as laid said, in our time of doing socials, you can always be guaranteed half the people who look for invites don't turn up. It's shitty though in a smaller setting as it ruins the night, I hope the night wasn't a complete waste for ye and he still managed to have some fun xx

"...How many times have you had a couple ask Oh yes tell me what you would do to her ? "

If there's no MM action going on, (not that I've ever heard Mr say it)it doesn't seem like a strange thing to ask(although I'd ask a single guy myself).
