Cling film!!!!! Best invention ever. Buy a huge industrial size roll,start at the bottom and work ur way up. Next year, carry it down, big pair of scissors, hey presto, perfectly decorated tree in under ten mins. Best move I ever made. Even if I did have the kids ripping the piss out of me for ages after. They aren't laughing this year though. It was awesome,no mess no fuss and no stress.
They say it takes a lazy person to have a great time saving idea lol. I'm not lazy just hate the drama of xmas trees and the mess.

Ah but then you don't get family time decorating it, sounds handy but it wouldn't be for me. I like to use a different theme each year too so different adornments would be needed as well. |

oh it still gets redecorated. Last year all the decorations were taken off but the strings of lights left on. And the littlest one always has to put on the star of course. Just saves time and cleanup for me I guess. |
