If someone is selling oil too cheap its prob stolen. Have no idea what too cheap is tho as I have stove with backboiler

It's around that price in Donegal.

A lot off people from Dinegal buy it in a North.

If u can collect urself there usually from 150 to 200 euro off a saving.

Fuel is a lot cheaper in N.I.

Coal is €12.50/40kg in N.I. (20 mile away) and €18.95/40kg in local shop!

It's not to bad. Most it will differ locally is about 10/15 Euros. They checks each other as prices daily. The only way to get an idea if it's dodge is to get the burner efficiency tested. More hassle than its worth

Gas is much harder to steal though, 500 trips with the black bin bag just for a weekend of heat...

leitrim

Lad down the road from me got his tank filled to the brim a few weeks ago. A few days later there was a fierce smell of oil around the place. Turns out a seam split on the tank and leaked well over half the tank into the garden.

DO NOT put a lock on the tank, the bastards only drill the tank then, then you're down both. Seen it happen a few times. Can't win with the bastards
