Why oh why does esb maintenance on power lines always in the winter time???? If they would at least give notice in advance! I'm sitting here with no power, means no wifi, heating not working and I'm boiling water for a cuppa with tea lights...ffs! If they were at least climbing up the poles in front of my house, I'd have something to look at!
Rant over, cheer me up lads, please! |

From working in the same field. ESB have to give 10 days notice to landowner. For every hour every house is without power ESB have to pay a fee back to the state (as far as I know). If the power went out unexpectedly then there is a fault on the line. Always happens this time year due to extra power been used. Just thought I'd pass on the info |
