What's everyone's advice? At the moment, I'm staying at my 95 year old Granny's house during the night as she hates this time of year but during the day, i miss the nice electric blanket i have up there.
What's everyone up to during the day to keep warm?

Well she certainly is but after spending a night freezing in the attic bedroom under 5 sheets, a duvet and an electric blanket, 95 may be a bit young for the house. |

your first mistake was to get an electric blanket. cold or coldness doesn't bother me in the slightest its years of spending time out side. its got to the stage where in the winter I use a light duvet or ill boil. |

Plenty of hot drinks and stay as active as you can. Blood pumping helps to keep you warm.

I'm usually the same as you and enjoy the cold weather (and still sleep at home with the window open) but it's as if there's a microclimate in her attic room. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole place used to be a giant fridge |
