Perfume isn't a great idea I think lad...... Get a little info into what's she loves, her hobbies or even a short stay away somewhere. Or at a beauty spa for a day. Those type of things impress

All good ideas but this is more something for under the tree that will last a while. We do the nights away quite a bit she's not into jewellery much. Spa day she's a little shy hates having people fuss over her and if I send her on a spa day she'd have to have a friend with her. That blows the budget lol. She's a hard woman to shop for

Dunno which role this woman is playing in your life....but if the present carries the message that you thought of HER the appreciation will by high even if the budget is only EUR 1

I would be careful with perfume...unless you know the brand she is using or a brand she is wishing to wear.

If you buy one without provisioning for the above...your gift could have an insulting effect...in respect to her current taste of odors

The perfume was just kind of a starting point. Good ideas but there something I've done many times. OK something outside the box if that makes sense

Don't think that will fix under the tree - then you ve to plumb it in etc

I was going to say a Dyson hover. She ll love for ever with that.

Failing that a weekend spa treatment away go all out

It is difficult to advice to someone unknown with an even more unknown wife but first listen into your heart and figure out what do you know about the inner of your spouse. Even being married can make the mutual depth for each other somewhat shallow.

If Jewelry...figure out her stone. Every human has an assigned stone. You can figure it over her DOB and Google it or ask a female friend with affinity to Esotheric to help you. Then go to a jeweler and get her this stone either in a ring or a pendant. Life cycle of the gift....eternity...as the stone is a bit her. Budget can vary from 20-200. Use at least proper sterling silver for ring or neckless

Find out her favorite animal and get her a teddy made. In the size of at least a pillow...she can cuddle up to when you are not home

Women are always big into shoes and handbags. For shoes you would need her to pass them but for handbags not. Get a female friend to help her. You must meet the requirements of chique and partial. A woman's handball standards of what it should be able to carry has been defined by Mary Popping. Watch the movie if you cannot remember. But the size should have chique standards if today. Budget of nice one cam be below 200...but don't go for replicas or cheep and nasty!

Good luck

Sir1967

P'S. ..doing the game since 15 years and more than XMAS. So far always a happy hotwife

I think this is a great idea. Tell her ur having a mystery day n all she needs is very casual clothes n shoes. Book her a hair appt n deliver her for it, nails too if salon do both or book separate, when finished coffee n cheeky snog n grope in the place or in bathroom if ya have the balls Then underwear shopping pref with changing room u can sneak into n give her a treat Then late lunch with good food n few drinks both in the mood m if really naughty a discreet petting session under the table, n if play your cards right taxi home for a night if it

I dunno if they still do it but there was a service in Brown Thomas a while back where the girl gets her hair, nails and makeup done and a classy portrait photo was taken of her at her best, either that or just get her a bag of cinders if she has been acting up badly during the year.

Ok this is going to get me in trouble. But men can't bring there women to brown Thomas. Because no matter where you look there's a sexy female worker and the women see everything

Silk, cashmere or a genuine stone.

Simple rules of shopping for women.

Silk pjs or a nightie or lingerie but it has to be 100% silk. Oh and get the size right too.

Cashmere, m&s do a range of jumpers (think nigella in her twinsets) but a cashmere scarf or gloves or even socks is indulgent and not the kind of thing most of us buy for ourselves.

A genuine stone: if you're buying jewellery always go for precious metals and genuine stones. It doesn't have to be a diamond but a garnet or topaz is always better than a cubic zirconia.

A really good gift for someone you will be buying more gifts for is a charm bracelet as it solves future gift buying dilemmas - you just get more charms!

So many great ideas. Last year I my partner a two person one night stay in a spa with treatments for her to take a friend of her choosing. Pricey but worth it. The gift basket works every year, lots of little bits and bobs, like burst bee's gifts sets. Make up brushes. Be sure to ask a sister or close friend what make up she uses but she will really appreciate you making the effort as much as the gift itself. Her fave wine, matching gloves and scarf...not from penny's now.

I am into photography but I don't have access to a studio so I got a deal last year for a boudoir shoot in town. Can't remember exactly how much it cost but they did her hair and makeup, wine and chocolates while they prepared. The photos were fantastic and you can go as risqué as you like. It's an all female team in the studio. She absolutely loved it and the pictures are far better than I expected for the price
