Workplace Crush

Hey. So has anyone else acted on their co-worker crush? I had a fling a few years back with a work colleague. It was building up for months...the sexual tension was unbearable. One lunchtime we both jumped on each other in the warehouse. It lasted a few weeks then it got awkward. Skip to present day.

There's this new girl at work, we have been flirting since she started. Opinions?

I would never mix work and pleasure as there's just too much awkwardness.. But I work with the elderly so not like it's even going happen in my job

Yes that's what I found out the first time it happened. We both agreed that it was just for fun.

Then it just got really uncomfortable

Oh I'm relieved. I thought this thread was about someone crushed to death at work. It has been too common of an occurrence in the past few years.

But seeing the thread for what it is, I can tell you with utmost sincerity and truth that I married my workplace crush. At first she wouldn't date me as she didn't want to mix her job up with her private life I was really sad. I Really liked ms Sugar but occupational courting just wasn't going to happen. Then around a month later we staff all went back ms Sugars house for her leaving work party. We all drank beers and I made my move on ms sugar and it went well. We hooked up in brogans. Shared a kiss and a chat. Soon we had to renting our own shitty flat in Fairview, spent 5 years at that flat, paying rent while working our buts off to buy some land and apply for planning permission.

We got our planning permission, built our house and got married.

So go with what your instincts tell you. In my case everything turned out plas best it could be.
