Met a person a while back on another site, did our thing etc.

Met her in the real world recently, bit if awkward hello, small talk.

Is there a way of dealing with this situation secret code or something. She had left the site now don't want her thinking I'm talking about her or n e thing

My town

Maybe a cheeky wink or something. I would never make anyone feel awkward if I saw them

Out especially if with someone.

It's awkward. I hope they would appreciate that ignoring them it's not being rude it just saves the awkward 'how do you know' if your with someone.

I had a experience in a shop met someone and he said hello I nodded back and he near enough followed me. I was with my friend and her daughter.

This happened to me while standing in line to collect a parcel in Argos. Silly grins but still terribly awkward for both of us as we were with other family members

Just smile and say hello as you would with any other casual acquaintance - what the hell else would you do?

Haha I'm quite prone to this!! Male here btw.

I brushed past John Mingo from here on O'Connell bridge one day after work.... It took me a split second to realise that we'd been to a party that he was at.

And on three separate occasions in work I've seen and been recognised by women that we've met. Bear in mind that there's 2500+/- people working inmy building!!

I find a simple grin and wink will suffice in an awkward moment

I've always just smiled though have had a few approach me where I work and call my by old site name or mention site. Was outted as a result of one person so discretion is key when seeing someone in their personal life

DUBLIN

Doesn't bother me at all wouldn't go over near someone in case it made them uncomfortable but if they came over to me it wouldn't be a problem

We have only had a few meetings of here. Thankfully everyone we meet are sound lovely people so don't think it would bother me if I dumped into any of them. If someone was with me and asked how I knew them I'd just say the work in one of the depots I deliver too.

It is but that is still not cool of him at all.

I've had two meets on here and haven't seen either of them again, more is the pity.

Although that might say something about me...

Mrs K met a guy she played with here, he was on his own, as she was, she said hello, he blanked her completely.

Needless to say he was blocked.

And yes he was definitely on his own, incase you were going to ask.

Met a very popular lady from here once for a coffee.

It didn't work out and so that was that... Saw her in a shop one day and said 'hello' no more no less...

Got a nasty mail and a block .... And guys just love her ... The tide wouldn't take her out

And I was on the phone to a fellow female fabber at time. "Hey I just walked past Mr a.o.p!"
