No, if you want to loose weight and keep the weight off then exercise and a good healthy diet. I work as a fitness instructor in a gym. But with the right program and some dedication you could get fairly close to your target..

Diet exersize combo, work out how many calories you need In a day eat about 750 1000 less than that. Add in a little exersize dint eat extra ro compensate drink two litres of water a day avoid alcohol (apart from an occasional planned night out) it's simple lol

There's no easy quick fix..

It takes some work and some dedication...

80% clean healthy food

20% exercise..

You can't out train a bad diet..

Good luck.. I'm on a goal/plan for 2lbs a week off me to Crimbo.. That will give me a stone (I've already lost 4 lbs of that goal.. Which will give me 5 stone off since March)

Cutting off your leg might help, bit of a short term gain though

Write down what u eat in day, you'd be surprised what chap is in there.

Fill the fridge with good food, so when you snack there is good stuff going into. Plan your meals, bulk cook if necessary so ur never stuck and have to go for a takeaway

Significantly less booze, none even. Smaller and proportion control of correct food intake. Plenty of water particularly before meals. Exercise, nothing excessive..... I've lost 9kgs and 4 notchs.on the belt without really trying on the above with more to come.

Or you could try the unhealthy approach;

Depression combined with a diet of cigarettes, sleep deprivation and caffeine have done WONDERS for my waste line.

The heavier you are the easier it is to lose weight. This is because everything takes more calories to do, and your body has not become efficient at the exercises yet.

As you get lower in body fat it becomes harder.

You can out train a bad diet, but most people dont have the time to do it. Most people need to work and can only exercise for about an hour.

I go hiking with a weighted back pack every day. I go up mountains and hills on hour long walks. I average about 700 - 1000 calories per walk.

Later on I do about 30 mins on an exercise bike and use up about 300 calories doing that.

Exercise helps you lose fat, dieting helps you lose weight, when you diet alone the weight loss can be from anywhere. When you exercise you preserve muscle and fat is used.

If you did like me, and cut calories you would lose a stone in a month.

probably.

Try not to cut out carbs all togehter, or you will rebound the weight, instead reduce it to a manageable level that you can continue on forever.

Kark

I lost 3 stone in 6 months

The first stone was lost when I went vegan for a month, obvs no meat but no dairy too, so hard

The other 2 were lost running, up to 50km some weeks

Now I can eat anything I like and I'll just burn it off with a run
