Hi folks been a while since I wrote anything here but I said I'd ask your opinion on myself getting inked up.
NOTE this is not a look at me thread. I just would like to know what you fellow fabvers think!
Iv always liked tattoos but I didn't have the passion for them that alot of people do so I took that as a sign that they are not for me.
However lately I'm thinking " ah fuck it just get one , a big one too lol
Any advice or tips or opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

I love them on guys. But I love original unique tats. If u go get a football tattoo or something stupid like that it's a turn off. For me anyway. Make sure it's what you want and something u can live with. I'm personally getting a full sleeve with a watercolour tattoo early next year |

I've personally considered getting a tattoo several times over the last fifteen years or so, however after a few years the tattoo I have in mind is never the same one so maybe that should say it all to me... |

We both have tattoos, make sure it means something to you not just a random one picked from a book.
Also give thought to where you are going to put it....
But yeah go for it I have 8 and don't regret one of them .... in fact I itching for another one

Needs to be personal something that means a lot to you. I have 12 (Mr speaking) but they all mean something to me and whenever I look at them they bring back memories off good times with loved ones. |

I have a few , remember a tattoo is for life not just for Christmas! Here is what I would advise
1) do some research and pick something you would like
2 ) stay clear of the current fad or fashion , you want a piece that is timeless
3 ) once you pick your piece wait a year , and if still want the piece then go for it , this is not a vague I want a tattoo, pick your piece and really consider it . During this time research your artist and be happy that you found someone who is experienced and knows what they are doing !

My better half has many many tattoos and has 3 rules she uses each time.
1. Don't tell anyone beforehand what you're getting and ask them their opinion. If you end up not liking it, you might resent that person.
2. Don't get one representing a person who's alive (children excepted).
3. Only get it because you want it and not for anyone else benefit. |

Find a good tattooist, talk with him about what you want and discuss a design, take your time with it, and be prepared to pay a pretty penny for a good one... |
