Rant time 
Going on rant ,I'm sick at moment so probably more cranky then usual
I like to think we have made effort with our profile. We don't expect to get loads of mailsnor do we expect a reply back to everyone we mail, everyone has different tastes and requirements
But how can people view your profile and mail you and ignore things written on a profile
The amount of friend requests we get is unreal , our friends list is for our friends on here . we get friends request s from people we have never spoken to and requests from people who have mailed us and we haven't had a chance to reply to.
Usually we ignore them but today I mailed only to be meant with excuses o i do it out of habit ,I didn't realise I sent it etc..
We don't want to be rude and abrasive in our profile with warnings and big rules but if people aren't even going bothered to read/ take note of our profile why should we bother ?

No people don't read profiles! Got a semi-abusive one this morning asking why I've never contacted this person!
The reason was that I had read their profile and they "Won't meet Smokers" ..
If they had read mine they see I am a smoker... so asked them why they hadn't read mine!!
Profiles are there for a reason! |

How dare they try and be friends with you! Yes it's annoying when people don't bother reading a profile but if you're not expecting a friend request can't you just ignore or delete & block?
I saw a funny one recently, the lady said something like "my friends only pics are just me in cardigans & trousers so don't bother sending a friend request" |

Normally ignore , don't delete as it allows them to send it again

I can only imagine what it is like for people who get a lot of contacts for sure. But then I don't get any contacts I don't initiate (after reading their profile) and my profile isn't that great.... I really should sort it out. |

We feel the exact same. We think also we made an effort in our profile. And the amount of mail we get, and it's obvious they never looked at the profile only the pictures. If they are that lazy to look at a profile, where else in life are they equally as lazy?? |

I'm not complaining about 8 months and no veris.just read your profile.its good I have to say.not boring states few valued points.mite contact you one day when I do get vertified.no panic this end.getting the time is my problem. |

Well done on the rant....get it off your chest......its about respect,but some profiles say there looking for single males and when you go to message them it say they do not wish to meet men.....im straight but ive had one or two males wanting to meet.....only once did i have ever have to block a bloke he was not abbusive just told me what i needed.... |

I was thinking a while ago if self explanatory signs and pictures in the photo gallery would solve the illiteracy issues on here, then again it wouldn't really make any difference to ignorance.
Not reading/ignoring what it says on a profile is just part of the fab package, and the friend request are just piling away while I simply pursue what I'm on here, to find some frolics with the right people.

If people aren't bothered to read your profile, It's instant disqualification for future progress. Use the fact that people disregard your profile and boundaries to your advantage. You will find then that the cream rises to the top. Makes the decision process so much easier, I think

I think people read some of the time...
Profiles often contradict themselves too ie. "Won't meet smokers".. Yet verified by smokers..
Also " not meeting " ...yet ongoing veris...
Many people will always chance their arm anyway  |
