meet n greet , social , parties

Hi everyone. I'm posting this because I'm looking for advice .
I'm on Fab in and out the past few years. I've never been to a social or a meet and greet. I see many people posting stuff about having a brilliant night and the people being really nice and friendly etc .
I'd really like to attend one but I don't know how to go about doing this , do I ask Can I attend do I need to know the people first .
Any advice would great , thanks guys  |

Hi there, Sinead here and I host parties with my partner , Leo (Black Canadian) I think you'll find that most hosts just ask that you are a verified member of Fab even though some put restrictions on the minimum about of time you have to be a member also . And while sometimes it is hard to understand the reasoning behind it , it really is as simple as everyone's security/ privacy and as hosts doing all you can to insure that .

Hi Sinead , thanks for your reply to my post . That gives me a better understanding on how it works. I tired to become a member but in Ireland you can't pay buy text or call , only by card and I'm not very comfortable giving my details on line , saying that I completely understand why it's important to be a member. I know privacy and decression is very important for the majority off people here . Anyway thanks again for taking the time to reply to this.

Jack verified means you have a green tick which you do it's nothing to do with being a site supporter hope that makes it clearer. There are events posted on forum and all you do is ask the op for an invite it's like the lotto sometimes if you get an invite but most m&g are open to verified ( have met someone on the site and are genuine) people |

Its a great way to meet like minded people all under the same roof and have great craic and feel relaxed with no hassle.
The first one I went to I was on my own and everyone was very welcoming.the hosts were lovely.

Hi Fierycrack , yeah I like the idea off meeting people in the same boat as myself ( so to speak) the website is great but actually getting to chat to a few people the one night and relax and chat and have a laugh, that's why I'm so interested in going. It's so hard to get to know some one buy chatting on line, it does nothing for me @ all .. Thanks for your post |
