There isn't much content for 4k stuff yet. Some Netflix shows.
Whether you need it or not IMHO depends on how often you change your TV. If you change every couple of years then I wouldn't bother with 4k just now. Your next TV in a couple of years will be time enough with more content available.
If you buy and keep till it breaks then it may be worth investing in 4k now to future proof it. |

The picture is absolutely stunning but as already said, there's not a great deal of media to watch on it. The difference isn't as noticeable as when you upgraded from SD to HD.
Saw some fantastic deals over the summer, 50", freeview+ under £400 in UK. I'd wait, or get a bigger HDTV. |

We haven't picked one yet. Still looking tho at the moment we're thinking about a Samsung 50" 4k smart android TV. Seems pretty gud in the shops |
