Degrees of separation...

So its supposed that there are six degrees of separation in the entire world. Ireland is a pretty small pond, which makes messaging strangers here sort of risky business. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had that awkward moment where their alter ego has been unmasked by someone they know?

It is a consideration. Swapping face pics is risky. .... Some posters don't understand that... Some then on the other hand don't care.

Within our first few weeks on fab we were spotted by 2 different people we know. One was very gracious and met us for coffee as we hadn't seen him for a few years. The other tho wouldn't reveal themselves. Took us a good while to figure out who they were but we got there eventually

Back in the day I went to one of Beddy's socials. Went up to the bar and the barman was a neighbor. I retreated before he noticed me. Went down to a couple and explained to a couple what had happened so the hubby suggested he go up for me if I kept his wife (who had her back to me) company. She eventually turned around and there she was, a girl I grew up with. We're still friends on FB. Rarely talk though.

I was at work and someone referred to my car as "the passion wagon." Was this just coincidence?? Is my identity jeopardised? Am I worried? (naahhh!!) Emmm the plot thickens.

What is all the fuzz about being recognised etc. Don't get it at all. I personally don't care if someone knows me or not, if so, even better. However, swinging or having fun and sex is not a sin anymore!

I've had a few circumstances where people have sent me messages saying they knew me. Its fine if they're upfront and have revealed themselves but if they don't I don't give it another thought because really how mature is that?
