Ok so say you have been chatting to a guy/girl/couple for a good bit, couple of weeks, and you make plans to meet, but they cancel, you keep chatting , set another meet and another cancellation, how many chances you give that person? Life can mess things for us at times and i get that , just interested to know people's opinions on this  |

Unless they beg for forgiveness after first cancellation and accompany it with flowers or chocolates then one strike policy should be the norm. Just sayin........  |

I would say Twice.....the first cancellation could be genuine family issues etc or may be if new to scene some last minutes nerves which they could overcome with time....but if Second cancellation then I would say they have had their last chance...Phil |

I've had to cancel a coffee meet this week and I hate letting people down but I had a genuine reason...
It's beyond me why people constantly arrange meets then don't bother to commit!
If someones has a reason for cancelling fine but if it happens the second time then they can piss off!! |

We had this with a couple. Chatting for weeks,made plans, they didn't show. Had a 'family issue'. Fair enough.
Second time got 'stuck in work'. Again, possible.
Then they invited us to their home as way of making it up.
Waiting on their info and they are online saying they're looking for company. That they can't understand why its so hard to get a meet.
I messaged them asking what's going on and they said maybe another time.
Blocked and deleted.
Some people.
My own fault really, but I was very new then.
I don't make that mistake any more. |
