Why oh why do people think it's ok to stand you up? It's not easy to get away but a simple text saying 'sorry I can't' would take 2 seconds.. Why bother getting to know someone if you're just not going to bother.. I'll stop ranting now  |

It's a fantastic feeling,especially when you drive for 1.5hrs then sit there like a muppet for an hour then leave and then told 3days later.. Am so sorry I completely forgot!! But we confirmed the met the day before!!  |

I've done the social and m&g's and tbh I didn't enjoy them. I'm just pissed off at the whole thing. What is wrong with people who do that? It's just plain ignorance not to send a quick text!

I drove all the way to Kilkenny 1 day. Parked the car in a supermarket car park. She asked where abouts I'd parked. The next thing is she text me to say I was a lonely perv an blocked me. Never got to see her. Lost all faith in fab for a long time after it |

Twice in one weekend a few months back one well verified who a month later decided to come up with an excuse and other left the site both I sat like a fool for in Dublin. I dunno why they do it just bad manners and their loss.. |

This. I've been mailing a person here for ages now. We had a coffee date set up and then I found out that she had 2 profiles. I questioned her on this and apparently she 'forgot' that she had the second profile.... I know...
Anyway, I'm the bad guy now because I had the audacity to question this behaviour. I asked if she was genuine about meeting people and the reply was that she was verified. That makes it ok then, obviously. Lots of fake people here (both sexes). Veris are not fool proof.... |

Unfortunately the sites not fool proof,I have been stood up at least 5 times and 2 were after 3 hour drives with no chance of finding another meet due to location.One person told me where they were to come over I went there and no sign,was on fab mobile so I could see the person was within quarter mile,I messaged them and no reply so after a while I left they said they had seen me and wanted to see how long I would wait but fuck that caper. |

Guys always me why I don't do one on one meets, well for me in the past I've been caught a few times with booking a hotel room and being left holding the tab. So God Damn frustrating chatting to guys for weeks, chatting on the phone and going to the trouble to take time out to meet someone and they chicken out so ya for me parties are the way to go

Omg!!!!...i cant believe how many sexy women have been stood up!!!!...thus is bonkers..
..ok..I'm just putting this out there...why is it very difficult for us genuine guys, who have never stood anyone up, cancelled last minute etc etc..to get meets when there are so many ladies getting treated this way...why are you girls chatting to these guys when there are plenty of very well verified and well thought of guys around who would love to meet some of you above that have been left waiting??? |

Happened me the other day...they texted me twice asking me will I show up to the hotel, I reply back every time , the day before I even text them no answer so I knew where this was heading, they are still online and on my friends list but didn't even bother to open up their last mail or apologise |

I think sometimes there are genuine excuses when I was single sometimes in the end I couldn't go for X reason or another, but I always kept others informed, been stud up in a cpl of occasions too its kinda degradating and you feel soo dumb but at the end of the day

I'd live to know who too. I have quite a list of them myself recently, they did say at very last min but with the most ridiculous excuses and again they asked us to meet! Usually they show up in a couple of weeks see if we will waste our time re arranging but time is short with real life to work around |
