So i get a text from a guy i blocked on fab , seemingly he was chatting to a guy on the irish chatrooms a few days ago and this guy gave him my phone number, i am overreacting or is this something that people do here? I would ask before i give a phone number away , thoughts on this people?  |

I'd be fuming and turn into a 3 headed dragon.
Tbh I'd report the two of them and block the two of them! Hopefully you have a second phone for fab! If so go and change your fab phone number.
Bottom line is not to give out any phone number as meets can easily be arranged through the site and kik. |

Not over reacting at all Enna, that's disgraceful. Where's the discretion in that? Did he at least do it in private, or was your number all over the chat room for everyone there to see? |

I have no idea who gave my number away, the guy i had blocked told me he was chatting to some guy on the irish forums and he got my number off him, i am fuming , just wanted to know if i was overreacting , thanks to everyone xx |

Definitely not, guy i blocked had only my kik addy and he was blocked on that after he wastedxmy time , so he deffo got my number of someone but he can't remember who |

You should be very careful about who gets your number...then you would know..
..wrk back..form a list of culprits..
....then..talk to each other ladies..dnt let these guys away with it...

Unfortunately not all think along the same line.
Btw there are possibilities to block a phone number on your mobile so that he can't contact you again.
However I certainly would make an effort to find out who gave away your phone number! Surely you know to who you gave out your number and work from there backwards. |

Oh this is exactly why I changed my number and now use kik..only select few have my phone number...!!...I would kick him in the ***** if he did it to me....No wonder people are getting fed up on here...bloody childish thing to do |

That happened to me some male who I trusted gave my number to another man ....said I wouldn't mind...both got a short shift and numbers blocked....the cheek!! |

Ive talked to a few guys who have said they get messages from other men on the site asking for females phone numbers. Be careful ladies... Kik only to be safe!

We use a seperate phone also because sometimes contacts pop up on Facebook if you don't! Happened us in the early days but fortunately trustworthy people so it was ok... But we have also met idiots on here so be very careful people |

and this scenario is exactly why i never give anyone my phone number . In fact every meet i have ever had here , has been arranged thru private mail , in my opinion , if a guy doesnt understand that the tools are already here and available on fab to arrange meets away to your hearts content via mailbox , then its his loss . Cant say anyone has ever decided i was a timewaster due to my no phone number rule . |

I think you have to be very careful in general with everything you do. Don't give out phone number, be careful with pics or pics being taken, same for video, as you have no idea where it will end up and your kids may end up seeing it on the net for eternity.
I'm a male, but I have to say when it comes to some men, some will share a woman's mobile number as some sort of bragging ideology.
Please be careful in everything you do. You may have a cosy relationship or arrangement with someone on here but beware for the day it may turn sour.

As previously mentioned try work back and find out who you gave your number to and block and report accordingly.
Also if I was female id be pm-ing you asking for this guys details and i would in turn be blocking him.
Its all about trust and the best rule is trust nobody then you won't be let down.
The guy that passed on your number should be outed,,, end of!!

The sharing of personal info without consent is totally out of order. The only time it's excepted is in a business environment and even then it can only be relating to business and not personal. You could report this matter but admin won't do a thing about it. We've tried. You'll get the "we can't control what happens off site" reply. |
