single men should pay a deposit??

This just occurred to me...
With most parties only allowing a select number of single men to attend and we hear of many reports of no shows at meets, gangbangs n greedy girl events...
So I had this idea: single men should pay a €50 deposit to book their place at a party... which is refunded when they arrive 
It would save all the messers and the no-showers screwing it up for genuine horny nice guys
Anyone agree?? |

No I totally disagree, it sets up a two or three way system. One rule for one, separate rule for others. It's mistrusting and disrespectful from the start. Its saying, can we trust you to show up? Yes you can as it happens..... |

For me i dont think its harsh at all alot men on here are all talk guve them an invite and day before they start guving u the excuses as why they nay not be there on the ngt . |

I'm pretty sure this would just put a lot of guys off even attempting to go. Most don't show due to nerves so I fail to see how taking cash from them will change the situation. It's just part and parcel of swinging and also acts as a sure fire way of ing out messers for future parties. |

On top of what some party hosts already charge? I don't see why. As _ilder said, it shows mistrust and it's not fair. I know some single men fail to turn up to events, but why should all single men pay for the failings at a few? |

Think it just depends on the scenario. If it's a small play party where the costs have to be covered then I don't see the harm asking everyone for a deposit! Men and women, coz from doing the socials there's a huge amount of women and couples who don't show either and apart from the cost element, I just find it rude. If you ask to come along and you get an invite it's polite to say you won't make it if you can't or have chickened out. Some folks just don't have manners though |

Ah yes.. but its the messers who mess it up for the rest of us good guys. If a guys paid out 50quid you can be sure he will turn up..
Else if there's nothing to loose..if there's no value on something its easier to say..Na I won't bother.
... and if he doesn't show up after paying, the cash can go on pizzas n beer for the party |

I know there is quite a good lot of messers on here men women n even couples I've met them all n I know exactly where ur comming from . All these people allways spoil it for d real people on here. If I said I was going IDE go but up to now could never go to any of d parties cos of other commitments . |

Everyone has things happen why they don't show up its not too bad when they tell you in time but I gotta admit some of the excuses are hilarious |

There are plenty of messers on here and not only of the male type. No shows can come from all sections. And dont forget the adds that say no single guys at this party only to to see the single guys saying what a great night it was ! Or the parties were there are no more invites put surprise surprise the buddy who didnt know about the private party got invited ! Do me a favour......... |

Decent swingers let others know in advance that they can not attend a party or meet.
However, there are occasions when an emergency could arise and anyone single guy, single girl or couple fails to show.
Asking for a deposit from the single guys is ridiculous and insulting , imagine a guy coming back saying there had been a death or illness, will they be asked for proof before refund 
Get a grip op , shit happens , deal with it , messers will mess regardless of their status. |

A good idea . You cannot make a hotel booking or book a flight without paying . With this system at least you know who is sincere . |

I don't see it as being insulting . Paying a deposit is proof that you wish to go. It seems a very fair system for everyone . You don't turn up for a flight without paying in advance . Why should a party be any different . |

Although I get where the OP is coming from the idea needs thought through a bit more.
ALL genuine people can have genuine reasons cropping up at the last minute due to having a life outide of Fab.
Tbh this would put me of organising a party because how could I explain 4 hearses with dead grannies in them, a man carrying a dead dog, a broken down car pushed onto my lawn because it wouldn't start and a man with a doctors sick line, to my neighbours  |

The last party we attended,all going paid up front using PayPal,there was no issue,one cpl didn't make it on the night,but it was made very clear to all attendees,you don't show up,you lose your deposit. We had no issue whatsoever with it,you can't ask single men/fems alone to pay a deposit..
It has to be equally rolled out |

the only party i couldnt attend was the one the host changed the date with a week to go coincidentally i had a date lol |
