Coffee meet recently and the male had a chip on his shoulder about how "single males" are treated on the site... Maybe I'm bit naive but the ones I've met seem to have a great time.. Love to hear others opinions on this |

I had a coffee meet recently and it went really well. Yes it is hard for single guys, but its no different to the REAL world. My advice is to be yourself, go with the flow and things will happen, maybe not straight away, but they will |

I've always believed that the single males are the group on here who are most sought after. Everyone is entitled to their preferences, but several times we advertised looking for single males to make up an mmf,the replies were rather sparse to say the least. So even though single male profiles seem to be in plentiful supply,a lot just don't seem to be 'active'
I'm sure the same can be said for couples and females etc etc also.
As for single males having a bad name, well we have found that all divisions of fab are equally capable of poor judgement in messaging, friends requests etc.

We recently took the single fellas filter of our profile. Well the Lord jaysus if ya seen the kind of messages we were getting from some of these lads, and at all hour's. In saying that there was 2 lads that did send us messages and they didn't talk the shit. We had to put the filter back on. So guy's if yous are go it to message people I thither a bit of normal chat would be better, not this stuttering about What ya want to do. |

ive definitely not been treated badly and iv been at this for a number of years. but a lot of single guys dont do the group any favors as they are the most likely not to turn up to meets parties and socials it happens all the time you lose about 50% of the invitees. a lot of them want to put in the least amount of effort to get the maximum return. ask any woman or cpl how many times they get the want to fuck message or how many guys failed to turn up for meets or those that dont want to do a coffee meet first and jut want the ride. but those that put in the time and effort get the best results. |

So, what is the proper way to introduce the male friend when in a lifestyle function? We've heard "pet","toy", "boy toy " and many other titles. We know for a single female "unicorn" fits nicely. Any suggestions? |

Doing fine here.
It's hard enough for single guys on here at times without their meets, social or otherwise, being discussed on a public forum.
I think it's very indiscreet. |

Then there are the men that seem to get mad at rejection... whooaaaa thats another kettle of fish, a chip on the shoulder is not how i would describe them |

It's all about choice swinging. If you don't wanna play with someone they should be big enough to understand that. I've had a couple of single girls over the years who have taken umbrage to a polite no thank you! |

Well, there's no point in having a chip on your shoulder or crying when things don't go you way. Fab's what it is. Treat it and others with respect and good things will come your way... eventually. |

Just in discussions with the few couples I have met this seems to be the major problem... idiotic emails from guys that don't have a clue, and they were getting dozens of these every week.
It's no wonder couples/females turn on filters!! |

Single males have a life outside of fab too and despite having the straight no male need apply sign up we get a lot of sh*t from other single males so I can only imaging what you lovely ladies and couples have to put up with. That said it can be a tough nut to crack and yes as others have mentioned single M no shows is a problem message I constantly hear. Though to repeat others you need to be yourself, go with the flow and get engaged (metaphorically) with people. Patient.... p.s. miscar anytime I see you you're having a great time too...

I have to agree with Peter, the guy will clearly know it is about him which seems a bit unfair, so it is being discussed, albeit indirectly.
Any status or thread discussing the downsides of a recent meet are in bad taste. There are worse examples than this of course.
Saying that some single guys have a chip on their shoulder is just stating the obvious and not worth discussing.
Peace and love |

I don't think we are treated bad. It's just that there are so many of us that women and couples have a big pot to choose from and it's just the nature of things on here that we are not going to get loads of mail or replies. |

"Coffee meet recently and the male had a chip on his shoulder about how "single males" are treated on the site... Maybe I'm bit naive but the ones I've met seem to have a great time.. Love to hear others opinions on this " . As with most things in life , the results will depend on the effort which you put in and how you market yourself. What was his profile like and how much effort had he put into preparing it ?
I have always found that the single males who complain generally have very poor profiles and the same applies to their pictures . |

It is unfair but unfortunately reality, the amount of similar messages single females get is astounding....
Fortunately there are plenty of decent fellas on here too! |

I don't pre-judge anyone or send that sort of tripe.. but them I don't have the same issues that women will have on site, so my opinion is fairly limited in that sense. I'm not saying I'm a decent falla, I just don't think we're all dickheads. |

I may only have been here 9 months so far, but I've enjoyed every day of it. I've had a couple of coffee meets as well as 4 meets and I've enjoyed everyone of them. I believe reliability, honesty and respect are essential and also I have never asked to meet, never mind accepted an invitation from someone unless I've been 100% positive I could make it.
Yes because there's so many of us, we have to work hard to stand out and attract attention, but that's no different to going to a nightclub is it?
Personally I've found the hardest 'thing' to convince some people about is that I genuinely am single, but that's because there are so many of that new division of guys known as 'married but I'll say I'm single because I've a better chance of a ride' |

Probably may have had a general chip on his shoulder, or just having a bad day. My limited experience of the site is overwhelmingly positive, full of "fab" people. Treat people properly, and get treated properly in return. |

Been on here a little while now.. And I have to say.. It's a wonderful site... We're all here to have fun and a chat and a bit of banter.... Maybe it was the coffee its very hard to get a good cup of coffee... And that's what set him off on one... He had nothing to give out about the lady turned up more than lightly on time and looking stunning.. You can be the best at texting but face to face you have to be naturally charming.. Or just be yourself and enjoy the moment... |

In my experience, the worst I've been treated is no reply. 99% of the interactions have been nothing but positive except one that ended poorly, but that was my own fault. Ok, none have ended in meets just yet but I'm in no hurry, all good things come.... |

To clarify it wasn't a bad coffee meet or anyone I've verified or that's verified me. Was part of a general conversation and I only wondered how single males felt in general on the site. As I stated myself I thought most single males here were happy out. It's just a discussion not a row only looking opinions |

This "it's a closed shop" line is a load of bollocks. If that were the truth, i'd still be here trying to break through....
No, it's just that a lot of single guys don't see swinging for what it is, a lifestyle choice. Not "a quick ride" or "i'm not getting any at home"
To be a successful single male swinger requires focus and effort. and I'm sorry but if you're attached or playing away from home without your partners knowledge then you cant give swinging the focus and effort it deserves.
Put in the work, and it comes back tenfold. Don't and you're just another statistic, and i'm sorry, but wont be pitying you as you fall by the wayside. |
