Get a vintage car. Is it 25 or 30 years to be classified as vintage. But jaaaajus 3 grand at 27 for insurance, I'm outta touch and shocked.

your age isnt the problem its the learners permit. Once you have your full licence it will drop a good bit..

How things have changed. I got my test at 18. By 27 I had a full no claims bonus.

Granted back then the d*unk driving ads said "only two will do "

Yep get a 15 yo toyota and insure it as a classic car. You'll be limited to about 3k miles per year but that should do for getting ye down to the pub and back

Insurance is going to be a pain anyway regardless what you do or who you go with your still going to have to pay!

I remember paying €3000 for my first insurance when I was 17 and the car was only worth about €1000 but it's always going to be tough till you get your full licence regardless of age it's the full licence that matters!
