Maybe the national media will take him seriously now? It always seemed like he just wasn't cool enough for them or something
I recall one of those Dubai tournaments where Greg Allen on RTÉ spoke for three minutes about Pádraig Harrington who was "playing some of the best golf of his life" but lying in 48th place, yet only gave Shane Lowry about twenty seconds even though he was in third place. That crap always annoys me. |

I love this guy. He's so real and it's refreshing to watch him play and being interviewed.
I heard rumours that Butch Harmon wants to coach him. I hope Lowry doesn't go for it because he's unique and brilliant the way he is.
Needless to say, I was delighted to see him win yesterday. Opens up a whole new world for him. |

Yes hopefully he stays away from butch Harmon and stays grounded, certainly seems very down to earth, love his attitude. Ireland needs a golfer at the top level so it's great to see Lowry winning a wgc |
