Where is Sam going in september

As the championship is quickly coming to a close and only 6 teams left who is going to win Sam. Will it be returning to the kingdom. Will it be staying in the capital. Will the curse of mayo be broken or could it be going north to Donegal monaghan or Tyrone. |

While I'd love to see Dublin win, I'm having some doubts at the moment. It's still impossible to know what they're made of and very little was learned from the game on Sunday last. I wouldn't begrudge Mayo a title but I'm not sure about them either. It's hard to see past Kerry, given that they can afford to start games with a subs bench full of proven talent. I don't think Monaghan or Tyrone are good enough to win it, and Donegal have shown flashes of brilliance followed by flashes of awfulness. If they beat Mayo they'll be hard stopped but we don't really knew what Mayo will be like as they haven't been tested yet either. Talk about sitting on the fence. I've narrowed it down to either Dublin, Kerry, or Donegal/Mayo  |

I totally agree dublin don't seem to be the same team as 2011 and 2013. Flynn has been very poor considering he has 4 all stars. Darren o sullivan was awesome when he came on on Sunday against kildare. |

Yep, but the upside of that is that if you're not playing well and still winning games at least you have a chance to improve. I think Dublin has the most potential of the teams that are left in it,but they'll need to get it together pretty soon. |

If its a repeat of the 2013 semi final with the same outcome I will b one happy dub. This weekend I think Donegal and monaghan will prevail. Dublin Donegal will b a cracking match |

there's terrible anti dublin sentiment. iv never understood why ? clearly we are not like kilkeny where we win everything so it cant be jealousy. we are a half decent team like lots of others and we win sam the odd time too just like lots of other teams. so why does the rest of the country hate us so much ? |

Since 2000, Kerry have won 6 times and Tyrone have won 3 times. Calling for Dublin to be divided because they've won two All Ireland titles in the time that Kerry have won 6 and Tyrone have won 3 is a bit daft.
There is a huge population in Dublin alright but the vast majority of them have zero interest in the GAA |

Because according to the majority of dubs everyone else in the country is culchies and boggers and the Dublin supporters take things to another level and u would swear Noone else ever won a match in the history of the game. We both lived in Dublin for a while and have lots of Dublin friends. We don't think it's so much everyone hates Dublin but the media don't help. The average Dub is gracious in winning and losing but the media seem to blow it out of proportion. Dublin beat Kerry few years ago just barely and most Dubliners would appreciate the small margin yet listening to media reports you'd swear they won by ten points. With this in mind it's about people misunderstanding the hype rather than understanding the Dubs we think. |

I watched a match one day Dublin versus Kerry. I'm not sure why I went to Croke Park to watch it but I did. The abuse the Dublin fans gave their own players was disgraceful. Majority of them got up and left early while booing at the same time. One thing about smaller counties they ll support their team to the end of a match win or lose. |

The genuine GAA supporters rarely leave games early,whether they're from Dublin, Mayo, Wexford or wherever. Likewise, Dublin supporters are no worse than any other supporters when it comes to dishing out abuse to other supporters. I was in the hill years ago with a friend of mine who was supporting Meath in a Leinster final against Dublin. It was some of the best craic we ever had. I recall being at a league match between Leitrim and Tyrone back in the early nineties and being spat at and screamed at by two Tyrone supporters who were ran out of the place by some other Tyrone fans. You'll get gurriers in every county, especially when things get tense. The trick is not to label an entire county because of a few. |

This is my pennies worth. Tyrone will push Kerry all the way and possibly win. The one side Kerry & Dublin do not like playing is Tyrone. We improve vastly when we hit croke park. Will we beat Kerry? I don't think so but we will give it a hell of a rattle! My money is on Kerry Dublin final. Head says Kerry for Sam. Heart says Tyrone and if not us Mayo. I've nothing against the Dubs I'd just like to see Mayo win one! |

Ah here, Michael Murphy is no thug. He's one of the finest footballers in the country and I'd happily pay good money to see him play any day. The incident in question didn't deserve a red card but Michael Murphy wasn't the referee as far as I can remember. I've seen worse at u 12 matches. |

We in Kerry are well aware of how difficult it will be to beat Tyrone. We are under no illusions. Over the years i have met many Tyrone fans and found them generally sound.
The game scares me tho... Because of the type of game it will be. Don't get me wrong, we are able to take care of yourself, but what went on by Tyrone yesterday at end of game was disgraceful...Marty Duffy has always been a poor ref, but got totally conned yesterday.. All this seems to come from and is being condoned by Mickey Harte, which is sad... I have this feeling all year tho about Mayo for Sam..... |

They should play provincial competition as usually
After that .cork /Kerry. .Meath/Dublin. .mayo/ Galway .
And fermanagh/down .let them play some sort of league/roundrobin competition for sam .
They are theonly ones who are playing anything that resembles Gaelic football |

The Dubs hate playing Tyrone we generally can handle them. Kerry again have not beaten us at this stage or further in last 3 outings! We might surprise ppl! Don't write us off

Well they didn't, victory for football. tougher final now for winner of dublin mayo. Won't be easy for dublin, mayo have excellent forwards. |

victory for football how? Yesterday was a top notch game. The only punishable cynical foul was punished with a black card to Kerry. They should have had another for the rugby tackle on peter Harte. Oh sorry that's right Kerry can do these things! Tyrone are again at the top table. Unfortunately we did not have a dead ball kicker to bring us across the line. All in all best team won. Their top forwards done it! Well done Kerry |
