Branding and scarification isn't new by any means, but I can't see it ever being as popular as tattoos, it's a very painful process and the after care is a lot of work. Personally I think it's a bit gross but each to their own and all that. |

I'm not sure I imagine in time they fade and it would also depend on how they were cared for when they are fresh? |

Its been around thousands of years. Tribals would scar and brand themselves for special reasons ie marriage death etc. Its interesting but ill stick to tattoos. I've enough scars without doing it on purpose to myself.
