Sorry Chappy but people need to know soon if they are going to get an invite, no point in telling us 2 days beforehand, it might be too late to cancel hotels that have been booked - some hotels need 48 hours notice of cancellations before they charge full whack if cancelled after 48 hours!
I know you are busy and we appreciate that only a certain amount of people can get an invite but please let us know soon so we can make alternative arrangements for the night!
I know myself how hectic it is to organise a social and the abuse you get, I've been there myself after all, I organised 2 socials...... just saying!   |

Lol ok everyone relax and take a breath. Firstly yes I ve been very busy the last while in facr its been the perfect storm of busy. Secondly invites have gone out,alot of them infact. I ve been in contact with people that have to travel the furthest so there all set and comfortable and feel it won't be a waste of there time.
Locals to Waterford won't need to book a hotel or travel far so lets be honest its not such an ordeal to get there so there next on the list.
This is ment to be a bit of fun nothing more. If people can't make , no worries there's always next time or the next event. I ve already had a few that have kindly told me that they can t make it and there places have gone to others. So again everyone chill. We re here for a bit of fun and a laugh not stress and hassle. Thats what we re trying to get away from for a few hours right .everything under control my good fab folks . |

Ok guys just to answer those few questions there. I ve sent out many invites to people who have said they're mad to go and so looking forward to going and a day or two later hear that because for whatever reason they cant make it.I ve heard all the bullshit reasons so thats why I m not to worried about it as this, in my opinion is one way to to the time wasters.
That might sound bad but the truth is I reckon everyone is kinda fed up of the fakes and time wasters. I m sick of people putting there names down for things and then suddenly not being able to go or worse just not showing up without even having the manners to let people know.Now that might sound harsh but anyone that knows me know I tell things how I see it. No bullshit no blowing of smoke where the sun don t shine.
In any event its the people not the numbers that make a night. And this will be some night .So the count down is on and so far its looking like its going to be a good one. |

Not been funny chappy but theres a lot of ppl who at this stage would like to know if they have an invite as to book hotels as it is the prices have gone way up for that sat ngt . You of all ppl know how this goes u have been to enuogh meet greets in your time . Think its time to get your finger out and send your invites out or u will have no one at your ngt out  |

its my bday that night and we need to plan ahead , if we dont get an invite , thats ok with us as long as we know as we can plan a differnt sort of night but that also takes time to orhanise, cant ask people to meet us at the drop of a hat

I would be thinking if some people have been asked and and accepted but then the people that are still waiting
(And there seems to be quite a few ) are going to be thinking are we not good enough to make the first cut .
I understand this us your first time doing this but it does seem like your not that bothered on who goes who doesn't and even if they get asked in the first place
I'm not sure if I was even on a list a stand by list or a not a f..king Hope list , but I shall ask to be removed off what ever one you had me on .
To late for me to try to sort out home life and work now 
I do wish all those that do go that ye all have a brilliant fun filled night |

Yes you were and are on the list. It was never in anyway about not caring who went and certainly and totally nothing to do with anyone " not being good enough ".
The idea for the night was for everyone to feel totally relaxed and to be able to enjoy the night without worrying about someone there making them uncomfortable. Looking back on this now I would obviously do things differently but the lessons have been learned for the next time. I was trying to keep everyone happy but as the saying goes , ya can't please all of the people all of the time.
Again to anyone that feels they were messed around, I do humbly apologize. Anyway for those who can make it I m looking forward to chatting to ye all on the night. |

As I said in reply to your pm thank you for the invite even though receiving it 12 days before the party was a little to late for me to organise hotel . Time away . And to make sure I had time off from work .
To those that are going enjoy I'm sure it will be a fabulous night and to the op I do hope it was not as stressful as it sounds this was for you it has to be very hard work to organise a night like this and I know I could not do it . I hope you can relax and enjoy a good party after all your hard work

It's not so much about booking hotels or not, it's more the case of if somebody didn't get an invite then that person or persons could make other arrangements but you need to give notice to those people too in case they need a babysitter so the sooner the first invites go out the better, not 10 days beforehand kind of thing! |

All cpls and single girls always get an invite in fairness so ease off Chappy he is doing his best, and have said he was overwhelmed with work etc, M&G's are hard to pull off to a T they are a lot harder than a social night out to make sure u get the right mix there, we know as we have held loads so lets forget all now the invites are out and lets enjoy a great night of meeting all our friends n getting to meet a few more hopefully

We re all here for a good time not a long time and we all know things don't always go to plan, such is life sometimes. The only real failure in life is if ya don't learn from your experiences and mistakes so I thank everyone for there hints tips opinions and encouragement. All has been taken on board and are welcome

Thanks Geordie. But unfortunately faith has decided to throw one last hurdle in just for the craic.
Invites went out last night but am getting reports that some people got them and they were ok. Other's got them but could not open them for the details and others did not get them at all. If anyone that got them and could read them ok could drop me a quick txt just so I know it would be great , that way I can focus on those that got messed up. Never a dull moment eh peeps. |

It's a stressful time sending out the invites, I know what that is like after having organised socials myself!! If you're sending via a group on phone, there will always be a few that it won't have got sent to!! |

We have thr old Nokia fone as our swing fone , they can recieve anything , no problem , but my own private fone , cant recieve multi media mgs on it , dont know why but it just doesnt , it a samsung galaxy , i think that could be a reason why some cant open it ,as it is a big mgs

Happens me every time chappie, I send all the texts individually and every single time there's at least 15/20 people who don't get the location text! Even though I'll have the right phone number from the invite text, pain in the hole!!
