We really didn't want to have to write this post but unfortunately we feel it is necessary. We had a number of couples and single males not show at last nights party without prior notice.
We feel it is common courtesy to send a text or a pm on site to let us know. We don't need to know why you can't attend as we appreciate everyone has lives outside of swinging just a short message to say "sorry can't make it".
Last night was a very busy night and we had to refuse many people who had enquired to come and who could have attended in the end.
We believe that if you were going on a meet with a single female or couple and had to cancel you would let them know therefore we would appreciate if you could extend us the same courtesy so other people can then join in the fun. We organise these parties as the venue is a purpose built club and everyone can have fun whether it be on the social side or the sexual side. As most of you know a lot of hard work goes into the organisation and we thoroughly enjoy doing it for the last 2 years however this gets spoilt when people simply don't turn up after reconfirming twice.
Thanks for your understanding. |

I hàve been to a few of these guys events in the past while on a diff profile name.
These people work very hard to organise their events and it isn't fair for others that had time wasted because of them.
Their loss and they don't deserve a second chance. |

I think it's bloody bad form if people don't show up to a party that's been organized.
I'm not directing this at anyone but theses people would be the first to give out if it was done to them. But for you the organizers it's more annoying as you have people that gererally want to go but due to limited space cannot attend. It takes a short time to ask for an invite via mail it's the same if they can't attend. |

I dont think people realise the hard work, effort and time you both put into the venue nights. Id agree with the poster above in not giving the no shows another invite, it's downright rude to not send a simple message to say they cant attend.
I love the bones of you both and can understand your frustration but keep rocking guys, the venue nights are tops!!! |

Its just rude to not let you know. I am sorry I missed last night but work commitments took me away.this is one of the reasons I take deposits when doing the Blackpool parties. It sorts out the time wasters |

So much effot & planning goes into these nights. Far play to Joe & Wex. Getting an invitation and then not showing up without letting them know is out of order and unfair on people who would go in your place. Cop on people. P.S. best of luck getting an invitation again. |

Hear... Here....
Organising any sort of event be it for business or pleasure takes time and effort. So just a quick and simple email/txt to say sorry cannot attend despite original intentions, even if it's at the last moment goes a long way to appease the organiser and in the case of the Venue usually frees up the slot for someone else to attend.
If it's because of shyness in attending such an event is the issue, it all has to be out first at some point, why not look for a wing person(s) to help you through it. Either someone you know or JnW could suggest someone to link up with.

At the end of the day it was their loss as ye guys did an amazing job as per usual.
Taking names and not allowing them next time is an option but it has its own issues. Maybe a separate profile for parties where ye can block them so even if they change names they can't get around block list unless they set up new account.
A few no shows is expected think it was more the amount with no communication and to think that someone else could have taken their places.
Its such a shame with all the work that ye put in that because of the no shows and ye wanting to make sure that people who are a little late still get in, that ye don't get to enjoy all your labour and join the party as ye are still watching the door.
Nevertheless it was a great night and we really look forward to the next one. |

Height of rudeness tbh!! Obviously things happen as with my week but even with what I had going on, all it took was a quick message to say there was a chance I wouldn't make it then another to confirm I could.
Still a superb night, just a pity those who didn't show hadn't the manners expected of anyone.
You pair rock xx |

Time wasters & just prob on site for perving anyways. I'm assuming they were verified b4 u invited them so U'd think they'd at least have decency to cancel & give others chance to go. Real Fabbers have the respect. |

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
You no showed to one we arranged. Sorry you were seen outside watching others arrive and then never came in and gave some crappy excuse the next day. |

I agree with previous posts, they should be banned. If I get an invitation I'll feel privileged because I'll be all too aware that the organisers have decided to choose me instead of someone else.
I'm guessing there's never been an event organised by anybody here that has not had way more requests for an invitation than there have been places. And from my point of view behaving like this just shows
. A lack of respect for the organisers
. A lack of respect for the members that were not invited
. An absence of manners & common decency
None of which are good enough |

Glad you managed to have a good time despite the no shows.
Always irritates me how people who can get invites don't show and those of us who cannot get them well we don't show because of that. |

They should King it would make it easier to find them when your a newbie and you don't end up pissing off some lady's husband or partner. That goes for the men too by the way. We should be made to wear high viz bibs. Glow sticks optional. |

Maybe admin would see it as being a couple too."
Had your problem before (couple profile) one. It was because I wasn't meeting on my own at the time maybe same reason your gf profile was made into a couple I dunno easily rectified if not the case |
