I prefer loc8. Eircode is a scam full of problems.
Loc8 is instant updated online or offline, doesnt need a database of addresses, if a new house is built between houses its instantly added without update, its gps based so can be used for accidents on the road, temporary events and parks tourist spots.
Eircode if you put one digit in wrong you can end up up to 100km off course. You cant understand it logically as the last digits are pure random, it can run out of space, every time a new address is added every device with the database has to be updated, its going to cost lots of money a year to run compared to free for loc8

They don't work with Google maps do they NSFW? So most android phones won't be able to use them. Now Eircode is up & running there's no gap in the market. |
