"Not so good morning..car was broken into last night...
Ooooh crap! Was there much damage done to your car??
Broken window..stuff rifled. They got a brand new Lap top that I stupidly left in the back seat..really pissed off with myself for leaving that there.
Yeah well you won't make that mistake again! I do feel for you, it's not a nice thing to happen....
I've had the back part of my side mirror taken off my car a few months ago, that alone is a pain and no need for it! They obviously tried over a few days to take it off only for them to leave it on the ground beside my car, I don't see the point of it if they weren't going to take it away with them!
Sounds like someone was looking for that actual part. Biggest pain for me is having to deal with the insurance company..you just know they're going to do everything to not pay out.."
Do you really think they should pay out when you left your property on clear view on the back seat? Take it as a leason learned. |

I don't suppose they left their fingerprints for the police did they?

Unfortunately I think this is what one 'group in society' class as having fun "
the guards couldn't give 2 fucks about car crime. I know of someone whos car was taken the gaurds where rang and it was reported. they didn't hear a thing for hours till the car was involved in a robbery and they caught the car on camera and what did the guards do questioned my friend about the robbery they knew nothing about it being stolen someone didn't put it on the system that it was stolen. |

Isn't that what insurance is for? I didn't intentionally leave it there..the same way you wouldn't intentionally lose a valuable item.. I would have thought insurance was there to compensate the loss of items. |

I didn't think you could insure yourself against stupidity? Who leaves property on view in a car these days, especially expensive electrical items, Why should my premiums go up because you couldn't be bothered taking your stuff out of your car? |

Not for something like that! Whether you left it there intentionally or not, a valuable item like that shouldn't be left in the car as it's too tempting for thieves.... It would apply the same if you left the keys in the ignition... They're not going to pay out for those reasons..... |
