How did you manage to do that I thought once they were on only way to have it removed was to pay the fine |

In the south it's a criminal offence to remove the clamp. They have your reg number and a photo of your car with the clamp on it. Clamps in private car parks may be different though. Best advice would be pay the fee and learn the lesson. |

I think it depends wat kind of clamp it is, I just put the jack under it behind the wheel and jacked it up until it came loose, car was parked on a normal road aswell with the sticker on it and still never heard anything after it, was 2 or 3 years ago now |

Mr69: Depends how they apply it,it's supposed to either stop you accessing the wheel nuts or be chained around the steering geometry so you need heavy tools to remove the parts. Had one or two that just draped the chain behind the wheel so jacking it up enabled me to just pull them off.
Privately applied of course, not any council ones, that would be illegal..  |
