115 million isn't all that much really. ...
Big house in dublin 3 million London 10 million New York apartment 8 million house in France 3 million holiday island in Barbados 10 million. So 34 million gone on digs. ..
Decent second hand jet cost 10 million and 2 million a year to maintain (2 pilots maintenence etc )
Say 3 million a year for looking after food drink clothes etc.
That's 5 million a year just ticking over. Hard to earn 5 million after tax from investing the 70 million left. ...
See its not that much |

Id always like to do something not selfish and put 1 million in a separate account to use the interest as a lotto prize each month to a lucky family in my hometown tickets of course would be free but there would only be one rule and that is you can only win it once in a year but your manger to win it a 2nd time the money would go to the family in 2nd place |

First 6 months I would put somewhere safe and just live off interest until I got used to the idea of such an amount of money.
Then Id pay off mortgage and go on a nice family holiday to somewhere sunny. Id invest in a great financial adviser so that he can tell me ways to cut tax bills e.g. giving to charity (only giving to bill gates charity or something close to heart such as Jack&Jill), good stocks and spread over low & medium risk.
After a great prenup think Id fork out for my unique wedding without the white dress. Honeymoon would be a year backpacking around world, making sure to stop off in places like azerbaijan, pakistan and japan - to see scenery, culture and japanese sex hotels. |

So don't waste your money on a lawyer just yet!! "
didn't say it was Irish wedding, was thinking Germany where they are legal & you can divorce in fraction of time if needs be. |

Give most of it to charities, that is an obscene amount of money for someone to blow on themselves - and I'm not the type who is impressed by flash cars or designer labels. Nor do I think it would do my kids any good to think they could have everything material they wanted and never have to work. |

I'd invest some of it so I could live off the interest, and I'd buy a secluded mansion with good security for a swingers club. And I'd buy two nice cars. One family car and one sporty two seater to whizz around the countryside in |

Stupid is a bit uncalled for. My point is that she was going to have the cancer anyway, so she stands a much better chance against it with the money than without. |

No amount of money will magic things better. Lots of money will get you taking trial meds etc. could prolong things but won't cure it.
I've been attending recently in the public system having previously been treated through the private system. Didn't seem much different to me. So Roxies spot on with her comments. |

Whether it's curable or not depends on the cancer and stage of diagnosis. Money will buy you better treatment in other countries in many cases. Worst case scenario it'll buy you good palliative care.
