Another 2 good friends left here today & this is a sad reflection on the goings on here lately with the nasty streak that has crept in. We also have been very near going but it's the friends we have made over the last 4 plus yrs have kept us here so regular breaks give the breathing space needed. After all swing is supposed to be fun not hassle  |

I've kept shut this last while but in fairness this forum has gone to hell the backstabbing and bitchiness that is going on is unreal and it's coming from all angles I'm not sure why ppl do it or what kicks they get from it but it's sickening me and it keeps me away from here

We're going on a break once the pass runs out. The excitement of a new message has been replaced with dread of the same daft questions (already answered in the profile!)
We just fancy spending some time on our own and maybe expanding the family.
A little bit of tried it and now time to move on....maybe returning at some point! |

Couldn't agree with Nora more and Tweetie we all have real life stuff going on,and family troubles health worries and drama the forums always gave me a good laugh but all I've seen the past while is anything but fun,I'm sure some smart arse will come on and tell me stop reading them if they upset me or delete the profile if it's no longer fun,but there are still good uns left and not gonna let a few rotten apples spoil it for everyone! |

Life would be very boring if everything and everyone remained the same. Live and let live, enjoy it for what it is, when it does not meet your needs anymore, move on and let others enjoy it. This lifestyle will not suit everyone but, allow those who enjoy and benifit from it to do so.

Some people leave in the summer months too because children are off school.The long evenings lend themselves to other types of socialising,bbq's beer gardens in pubs,nightclubs etc and the possibility of meeting sexy people in real life where it's much quicker to click with someone because of actual face to face engagement.
As for the snide and negative comments which creep in from time to time on the forums,all I do is allow for people having some sort of personal issues at that moment in time,if they carry on 2-3 times being downright rude I make a note on their profile to avoid like the plague.For me attraction is 70% personality and 30% looks.You'll always meet people with whom you wouldn't like to spend more than a few minutes of time with in any walk of life.Funny straight up honest people will always get my vote of confidence. |

The problem here is the sheep give the bullies too much respect which only encourages them to continue bullying. These people are not respected they are feared, because of this the forums have been in decline for a long time. If people woke up and saw that those who shout the most and are most aggressive are not the leaders here they are the ruination of the scene and the site then this would be a better place. We only dip in and out here when we have an upcoming event because we couldn't look at some of the bullying that goes on here on a regular basis. People need to cop on and not live their lives here and if they are here let people have an opinion or question without shooting them down we were all new once, live and let live. Pam |
