The time has come to move on. We have had good & bad times but happy to say more good than bad! But lately this site no longer meets our needs.

More gone but why? "The site no longer meets" their needs. What has changed?
We see that the these forums are effectively the madhouse controlled by the inmates so has that culture led to the mass exodus?
Has the site been overrun by us singles thus turning it Tinder like rather than a true swing site for Couples?
Perhaps it is just cyclical and a newer better site beckons.....
In any event the website does not seem to grasp that the trend is worrying and may impact on its future.
Good luck to those true couples that have left and hope that you find somewhere to meet your needs. |

I'm sure the OP have their own good reasons but the quote above hits a lot of nails on the head too.
We are packing it in too, been swinging for ten years and on and off Fab the last few. The website culture has changed entirely in the decade we've been looking at it. Used to be predominantly so that supposedly monogomous married couples could swing, now it's an NSA dating site for singles and people on solo runs from their marriages for their own good reasons.
We've made some fantastic friends, lost a few too, and overall had a mind-blowing time... which we still will do but not via sites like this. If it still works for you, enjoy it! Ain't working for lots of genuine couples.

Some very interesting and valid observations..
The nature of swinging sites has indeed changed over the years, and without doubt from.the outside appears to be dominated by singles seeking either NSA or likeminded partners or relationships.
However, huge numbers of swinging couples actively engage and seek.out male and female playmates, so it`s not fair to assume that we all spoil sites..
Over the years, I have noticed huge changes, the swing scene is still relatively young here in Ireland compared to the UK..
Our scene has grown alongside the rise of the internet, more people have access to sites, so naturaly it attracts huge numbers of singles, and couples of course..
People come and go , leave then return but there will always be those you describe , so I doubt the site will be worried.. |

I would agree totally with Red. And as a single searching for NSA fun I will acknowledge that my reason for being here does not square with happy couples who look for the same as themselves. But my time in here has thought me that the demand for a respectful single male exists . Sometimes even from that same happy couple that swing ... |

Yes, indeed! For couples looking for a single guy this site is brilliant.
It would have been interesting if the OP had said what their needs are that aren't being met.
Being old fashioned, one of our big needs is utmost discretion. The site is so publicly accessible now that it's difficult to really describe ourselves or put certain pictures up without making ourselves too obvious in our tiny backward rural area. And the scene in our county is very meet n greet/social based now which doesnt suit us.
The other site alluded to allows really advanced filtering. for example, we could just have our profile visible to paid up, verified, couples in France if we liked. Or if you like, only to single guys of a certain age. Fab could meet more couples' needs if it kept developing and then the OP and us etc might have our needs met. |
