best advice I got for swinging was to be normal, , friendly and not a sleazy creep.
best advice in normal life was not to buy a house in 2004.
I live my life by a simple rule of always try to do good and be honest in everything I do

Don't judge others, you don't Know their path of life
Learn to listen and read between the lines
Treat people how you like to be treated, nothing less.
Keep your nose on your face, not in others business.
And the one I try live by
empowering myself with knowledge and educating myself on human behaviour

I like that one Apples, Laid I agree with too, back then we had a house on one side that was paying sub 700 pm bought in '99 & another that sold in 2005 with a mortgage of over 1200 pm.

Always double check that you have measured accurately b4 you cut it to the size you want so you don't have to recut or worse- replace |

I think the only advice I ever got was about doing the right thing even if it got me in trouble.
I had broken rules to help someone.
I was taken aside and I was sat down and was told that what I did was the right thing, but did I realise I had broken rules to help them?
I said I did.
They asked me if I could be brave and still do the right thing even if it meant i got punished in future.
I thought about it for a while and said yeah I could.
Then they said "good, you're going to be punished now, okay?"
and I just stood up straight and said "okay".
I don't live by rules as a result, Ill break every rule going if its the right thing to do. Common sense helps, so does a strong moral compass.
I do have rules for having sex with strangers and meeting people from online though obviously. But those rules are common sense really too. |
