"Coming over to Dublin middle of June someone recommended this pub crawl any fabbers been on it is it any good ? " June 16th is Bloomsday, the day on which the novel Ulysses is set. Maybe that's the one? The James Joyce fans retrace Leopold Bloom's travels on that day and it involves a few pubs where they drink Guinness and eat tripe and onions and such like. It's all a bit highbrow for me though. | |||
