This is soley a discussion regarding a serious matter in our local town involving a group who was run out of Waterford City not so long ago by the local community who had enough of them this same group of approx 25 people have now moved into our town and casing mayhem from there children throwing stones too adults breaking into homes and threatening elderly people leaving evening mass and also begging and just today a lady was assaulted by one of them in our quite town I seen it on Facebook from young and old who just have enough of them the gards won't do anything too resolve it in any way I suppose the question really is what you do in your area if this is going on thoughts pls ????? |

Shame there's kids in d group, they may be nasty little ill-mannered brats, but there still kids. I'd say it would be much more achievable to get a faction of local lads to emulate d Waterford locals were it just adults. If d guards won't act, then I'd campaign to bombard d local and national media about ur towns problem. Hopefully that would bing pressure on d local garda super to police ur town ! |

well when I say kids I mean teens but a small number of them about 5 the rest are adults I remeber cleary this group hit the headlines the lenth an breath of the country and here it's I know it's just gonna get worse and worse I seen on fb tonight they are arranging a demo outside the house they are staying in sometime over the weekend weather it's a good thing or not I don't know

Sounds awful, Its thing's like that that makes me glad that all I have to worry about is the Neibhours Seeing me Naked or their ewes eating my flowers... Thank god for the countryside...  |

Don't get to comfortable there mistress these clans are buying out the country to get away from prying eyes of the gaurds. I live in a rural area last year there was two drive by shootings on a family that bought up a cottage on an Acer and moved the clan in With all the trappings. now we lock the doors and windows pad lock the gates and keep the dogs in the house at night at least they will wake us if something moves out side and we won't find them poisoned out side

this same gang have bin run out of the following county's dublin Limerick cork Waterford now there here in wexford yeh I know every town village and city has the bad in it 9 times out of 10 people would know them and know what there like but these just have no respect and are the lowest of the low how there getting away with it is beyond me that's a fact we also have put our dog in the hallway normally he's kept in the kitchen but he will wake us if he here's a mouse in the house |
