The GTO is/or is supposed to be a track car, the GTB is a tourer

my favourite Ferrari is LaFerrari but after that it's a toss up between the F12 or the Ferrari 488 GTB for the sexiest ferrari

"Dino"

Your right a Dino should be included.

And a 365 Boxer. And a 430 Scuderia. And a 250 GTO.

Need a bigger garage...

"What's the difference?"

The "o" is reference to the Italian for homologation, meaning in order for the car, or parts to be legal for certain race series, a set number have to be produced, hence the 250GTO of the 60's and 288GTO in the mid 80's.

Sadly now, its mostly used as a badge to identify production cars, tweaked to be slightly more motorsport/track focused, than the out and out race cars for road use.

And the award for the dullest post today on Fab goes to.......

Far from boring

and the B is for Berlinetta, which is Italian for a sports car/coupe.

Agree with you though, the 599 GTO is not a real GT) at all. But still a damn good car.

Good lad! Knew it was for something, and couldn't remember!

Id still think that the real mystique died with Enzo, and anything after '88 just isnt the same. Saying that, wouldnt say no......

I agree, but some of the 90's designed Ferrari's still retain an analogue, mechanical feel when driven. From 430/599 onwards its akin to a computer game.

Still fun, and fast, but in a different way.
