"Most cars pedals are always the same, backwards ABC. From the right, accelerator, brake, clutch, right foot for A&B, left for C."
All so daunting to me though its getting the car to move and getting that biting point but this is what lessons is all about nervous for my first one |

Miss Lolly calm your head lol,,stop thinking so much.that's what lessons are for and the instructor will teach you until you're completely sure regarding safe driving and any reputable driving school should have dual control cars in operation. Take it one lesson at a time,I did 15 lessons before I felt confident enough to drive alone, you'll get there |

I hated swapping over from an old handbrake to a new, electronic one, it still catches me out on hill starts...a good instructor will take you to a nice flat area to get started, it soon becomes second nature. |

You will be fine. Being nervous is a good thing. I still get a little jolt of nerves when I get on the bike. Two minutes later and it turns to 100% pleasure of having the freedom on the road |

Get a automatic car - they're more easier to drive. |

Loads of people start off from scratch and that's why they get lessons.. You probably won't even be driving for the first lesson seeing as you're so new.. They might just take you through the controls |
