There simply isn't the market size to accommodate this in Ireland. Twice London 'exclusive' clubs have tried to establish in Ireland - both relative failures. Once, around 6 years ago a london exclusive venue ran a weekend in the SW - failed to attract overseas customer base (air connections not good enough, too remote, not a key location like events in Vienna, Berlin, London etc). Then recently there was EWS in Dublin - largely turned out to be business men and escorts.
The key problem is that (1) the market isnt big enough to accommodate the various fractions in irish swinging (the young, the rich, the non-single guy, the older) these groups DONT all want to meet each other. Secondly.. You'll charge a premium.. For what? As it stands people can throw a party or arrange a small gathering for the price of 100 euro for a 2-3 bedroom venue. So say 20-30 euro per couple / participant. For this they can meet THE EXACT SAME PEOPLE they can meet at yours. This isnt Paris or Amsterdam.. You go to a club you'll see the same people.
Now thats not to discourage you. Plenty of places in the world are opening up to adult venues and enterprises but, frankly, Ireland isnt one of them. |

There are already at least two of these clubs operating in Ireland (I was at one once), but you will never get to hear about them on Fab. The key word is 'exclusive,' which means ultra-discreet. Membership is generally the sort of people who have private security. |
