The definition of cheating is "to act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage" so basically if your partner knows about it and its swinging if she doesn't know then it's cheating... simples

Good point, so if your partner knows, its not fucking around.

Why have a partner so if people are going to have open relationships? Why not have friends instead?

My situation is completely irrelevant fella. Cheating, as said above is spending intimate time with a person other than your partner without your partners knowledge.

Seems like you wanted to ask one question but asked another.

Swinging wouldn't be classed as cheating. Original post answered.

If you want to go into different scenarios about how it could become cheating. Or why people would cheat, that a different discussion.

" If the life partner does not meet expectations, why have one?"

It's difficult to have a threesome or an orgy only with your partner. Just because people are committed to each other, does't mean they cannot explore their sexuality further, beyond the 1:1 situation.

I would imagine that for people in a relationship that would like to invite others to their sex life, if the partner is happy to join in the journey of exploring how sex can be amazing with more people, it is truly then that such partner meets their expectations.

OP is 5 weeks in the site, and he is asking this question, which when answered he questions people relationships..

Anyone experienced would have enough cop on not to go down that route.

My advice to the OP is to leave this topic well enough alone and to try and have some fun..

Swinging is often a group activity. It's something you can do WITH your partner, rather than behind their back. It can enrich a relationship.

Remember there are a multitude of reasons why a couple might swing, and there are situations that are impossible with only 2 people. DP, orgies, threesome etc etc.

You are also not considering that there is a lot more to a committed relationship than sex, and therefore there are many reasons to be in a relationship that are a lot more important than a quick fuck.

Swinging can be complimentary to a happy relationship, not contrary to one. It doesn't mean for a second that your partner doesn't meet expectations.

Rubbish. People make a commitment to each other and agree what the future holds for them. If they agree with each other to swing then they are not breaking any kind of commitment. You are trying to push YOUR idea of a relationship on other people. In my book a commitment is whatever is agreed upon by the people involved.

You are trying to suggest that swinging couples are not committed to each other.. because it doesn't fit with your idea of a committed relationship. You are judging us by the ideas you have of what relationships should be. What you should be doing is understanding that a commitment is an agreement by both parties to act in an agreed manner.

Its not simple really. In my case I have a partner of many years with whom I'm blissfully happy. Nonetheless we have different sexual urges and inclinations. Coming into middle/later life libidos take different directions. My inclination is into group/dogging/nsa/voyeurism/etc. Hers is more into the occasional, very enjoyable, physical bit every couple of months. Lots of great cuddles in between. Once I don't flaunt it I am allowed adventures.

I'm not sure if that is cheating

To be fair to Snickers he came across as being genuinely incapable of understanding the swinger mindset.lol This is just a poor attempt at trolling

"Well for what it's worth, and I'm sure the OP won't care, but we are blocking him and putting a private note on his profile to never go near him.

Any person who has the audacity to question our commitment to each other is not ever going to get an opportunity to be with Mrs k. The cheek of you!!!!!!

You silly immature little boy...."

"

No, not trying to push my opinion at all. Just sharing an my opinion. Whether it is rubbish or not is of no consequence as that is your opinion and that is pushing. I would never expect to change peoples minds because I don't care enough about them to do that.

You may not be pushing your opinions on others but it's interesting why would question the relationships of swingers on forum on a site for swingers? "

...butt hurt?

"You are trying to suggest that swinging couples are not committed to each other.. because it doesn't fit with your idea of a committed relationship. You are judging us by the ideas you have of what relationships should be. What you should be doing is understanding that a commitment is an agreement by both parties to act in an agreed manner. "
How can you be committed if you are shagging some one else.

If you do something behind your partner's back, that is cheating. My partner and I are on this site to have a good time with other people. If he were to go out at the weekend and have sex with someone and not tell me, that is cheating but if we both go out and are with a couple together, then it's consensual group sex. We are very committed to each other and we still have very strict rules in place about what is and isn't considered cheating. That's what swinging is for couples, is it not?

We are 30 years married and totally committed to each other! This is just a bit of fun which we both enjoy occasionally. It has only enhanced our lives together. As long as everyone is open and honest with no deceit, it's not cheating.

Why do I have the sneaky feeling that the OP thinks the single women on this are sluts and whores too?

"Would swinging be classified as cheating?"

Or did someone say that already
