As I look down the barrel of a third hospitalisation I've decided to call it a day on here. One less thing to worry about and it's time to give back to someone the privacy I had taken from me.
I returned here for the social interaction side of things. Mainly the chat rooms and forums but I have seen some fairly nasty behaviour in both. We all get the nature of a site like this but we still have a duty of care toward others.
Poking fun at people you know is banter. Doing so to a stranger isn't. You never ever know what's going on in someone's personal life. Be it cancer, the break up of the family home or even addiction recovery. It could be all three or anything at all.
I myself had an illness mocked online. This led to a relapse in my health and a return to hospital. Not a shining moment in the mocker's life. His reasons for doing it were justified but the avenue of attack wasn't.
Just be kind to each other is all I'm saying.

Aww! Sorry it didn't work out for you lefty. But if your health is at risk then definitely concentrate on getting better & you never know, if in the future your spring comes back perhaps Fabs will be a better place?

Never has the pleasure but come across as a decent person who doesn't mind showing an emotional side.
Keep the head up and just don't let anything on here stick. Gotta take the bad with the good.

Thanks for the supportive messages guys. Both here and in PM. It's been an total joy to be here. Some day if things permit I may return. I may even try my hand at a M&G. You just never ever know.

PS. Just to lighten the mood. The name Lefty? Thanks to the big C I no longer have a three piece suite. I now have a corner unit. I also pull to the left when I run fast. Weight difference and all that.
