Any plumbers in the house? When we turn our heating on it trips a switch in the fuse board what's wrong?
A friend said it could be the fan or pump is this true? If so how much would it be to fix it?
Any help is much appreciated

Pump may gone...although normally if a pump is gone the boiler still fires up it just doesnt literally pump the heat into the heater.Ive not had a trip switch go because of the pump in mine anytime the Boiler was gone. |

It's an electrician you need not a plumber , probably is the pump creating a short circuit, but could call both plumber and spark you can have double the fun ( double the bill too ) , X if only I was closer, XX. DL

I'm an electrician. If you get a plumber round the first thing he'll tell you is get an electrician round cos it sounds electrical. I'll diagnose the problem and you call back the plumber to fit pump, stat etc. and then I'll come back and wire it up. So that's 2 trades x 2 call outs plus labour and parts. So basically you get screwed by the plumber and the electrician at the same time isn't that what you wanted. |
