I've very little in the way of a period and only get one every 3/4 months and only lasts for a couple of days although the symptoms like a crampy tummy and tender boobs still happen,, its nothing major so it's a thumbs up for me  |

The mirena coil that I have reduces production of eggs so it's less likely to get a period at all,, it also thins out the lining of the womb to prevent eggs fertilising with sperm and thickens the entrance to the womb to prevent sperm passing into the womb to prevent pregnancy. I can't speak for other women but in my case,age related and having my last daughter at 39, this was the perfect solution for me,, i was out of age range to take the pill. The contraceptive bar and pill injection didn't work for me as I retained fluid using both.The coil is there and I even forget it's there,, its just great for me |

have to correct you there , I have a merina coil and i still get periods . I have had a coil for the last 5 yrs . this is my seccond one , so your incorrect to state that women who have the coil dont bleed , some do , some are lucky and dont . |

Has any of the women tried Beppy tampons?
I keep meaning to but they're quite expensive to get online though.
