Hmm

I can't figure out whether he's trying to 'help' others by telling his story or whether he's attempting to make money off his fathers alcoholism

I'm yet to understand what the fixation with the gentleman is..... Nobody's obsessed with Bobby Charlton or Ryan Giggs' children, so why George Best?

He's a leech.....watched that interview there and can't believe the free ride he was given. And the fawning audience.

He wouldn't get such a r caption up north believe me...

I watched an interview with him yesterday and there is no doubt he idolised his dad .

I honestly dont think hes attempting to make money of his dads story and actually got quite upset telling how he was used by his dad by being set up having a game of football with his dad as journalist took photos of them ...quite sad that his dad had to do that to get money

I doubt his dad needed to use him for money. The man could wink and get cash.

Callum best is a complete waster but do you wonder why when you think he had george best as a father

Best was a great footballer but as a father and man he left a lot to be desired

All his father left him was a name and a watch. As for learning to live off his fathers name, he learned from one of the best in the business. His mother Angie Best

George Best was an incredibly great footballer, unfortunately his alcoholism was the talk of the country...The media was quick to rum him down before his death than as soon as the man died the legendary George Best.

I'm not sure what callum best his celebrity status is he is just know as being George bests son or does he have to background of his own. Apart from having the playboy image and dating endless girls. His mother was a model and had her own recognition.

Yea for sure Ireland has thousands of family's like the bests what makes his story any different really low to see someone trying to cash in on their dead father...

its not like he's donating the proceeds from his book to charity or anything.

and if George best wasn't his dad he'd have no talent in life to talk about or anything to talk about for that matter.

what's below z-list celebrity ?

So your father has to leave you material goods to have been a good parent ???

That's an interesting take on family ...

Calum best disgusted me on the late late show, has always made money off his fathers name, what is he actually qualified to do? Nothing!

Just happens to have a book coming out also, absolutely sickening.

Who am I to judge. I have opinions as we all do but what he does is up to him. Loved his father as one of the best footballers the world has ever seen and as a legend for the club I love and support. Nothing he does will change that

Didn't leave him anything, wasn't in his life as he lived in Chelsea while Calum grew up with his mother in the USA. She was the major influence on him. She taught him by her own example how to live off George's name
