It will take at least a year for an official report.
They lost 32,000 feet in less than 8 minutes, catastrophic airframe failure or flight control failure.
Must of been a long 8 minutes for all involved. |

Voice recordings have emerged which reveal the pilot was locked out of the cockpit. Can be heard trying to kick the door in. This is quite alarming

Journalist always giving cops backhanders for info. Especially in this country
Often read articles that look like they are lifted directly from cops files and pulse records any never a peep from the ombudsman

The plane started a slight descent and basically flew at top speed into the side of a mountain which is unlike previous suicides where there's a sharp sudden descent.
But yes we do not know at this stage and its all hear say till the black box reveals more. |

If he was incapacitated the pilot outside would've been able to open the door,which suggests that he was denying entry to whoever was outside.

It's desperately sad I think I'd prefer to hear it was some kind of mechanical failure than hear my loved one died because of someones emotional or mental state, that's to say if it was suicide. Obviously keeping the cockpit door locked as an anti terrorism solution is flawed. What can the airlines and people at airbus/boeing do to make us feel safe now? |

Lol, I'd say half the pilots of the world don't either. It's nothing to do with the mechanics of the plane in question. It's simply a matter of why the pilot couldn't open the door. A little research, or even reading a couple of earlier posts, will give you the answers to that. |

There's a keypad outside the cockpit. To gain entrance you need to enter a code. This can be disabled from inside of the cockpit which seems to be what the co pilot did so no one could get in |

I watched Primetime too! They also said that it was too quick yet to judge whether it was done deliberately, they didn't have all the evidence to back it, just the recording of the conversation that was had... It's awful what happened regardless, the poor familes of the people who were killed.... |
