Where I am, thick cloud between 8 and 10. Kills it really, even with 95% coverage. I will be at the top of a very high peak with a camera nonetheless. Might get something interesting if it peeks through. |

Maximum is at 0929 for the east coast but the further north in the country the more eclipse you can see, ofcours depending on cloud coverage in your area. |

"I remember the last one and even if there is cloud things will get quite dark and the birds stop singing. It also gets noticeably colder."
I was in Wexford in 99 for it. It was pretty spectacular. |

Just as my daughter left to go to school the clouds parted slightly and we got a look for about a minute,was very hazey through the clouds but she was delighted |
