You should def take a trip up. Its a great little spot these days. Some nice bars, restaurants etc.
Midlandsgent is doing day tours I think lol |

I'll probably pop up soon enough seeing as dtg had great socials there, dunno what to make about these day tours  |

Socials were great craic. Hopefully there'll be more! The day tours are overrated  the night tours are the business though |

Used to go to a bar in athlone called "the hooker" no not that kind named after the boat and then across the road to a night club called banana club I think or was I dreaming. Some cracking waitresses in the Chinese alon the street from there |

That's a long time ago CJ! It's called Gertie Brownes now. Still a nice little bar. Banana fish park was a restaurant across the road and Ginkels was the nite club (had a few names over the years!) |
