Why, when somebody wants to reply to a singular post do they repost the entire quotes 
.... it takes bloody ages to get down a page with the same quotes duplicated over & over 
Just had to get that off my chest, sorry!  |

Well when there is a lot commenting in the forum different messages can get confused if they wanted to reply to a particular comment. Its the forum layout thats the issue |

Surely that's why the reply and quote option is there.There would be a lot of confusion with people not knowing who was replying to who's comment if we don't use it . |

Yes i understand the reply & quote option but what I don't understand is quoting the whole post when you can just quote the sentence/s relevant to your post. Excuse me if I'm not making myself clear x |

actually i forgot when you reply and quote you have the option to delete the original text and just have the quote of the specific comment you want to reply to so if people just remembered to delete most of the original quote and only keep the relevant part it would be that bad |
