"If you can get back into a car driving ASAP. It can really hit your confidence otherwise "
This is true, and you may not feel the nerves until you get into the car again

"Iv been in a bad accident before. Just takes bit of time to stop reliving it. Only natural. Don't know if talking to pro will speed up the process"
It may not speed it up but may help to asses and sort through the emotions? I have never been in a bad accident thank god so Im only making assumptions |

I witnessed 3 fatal accidents in 4 days a few years ago and it took me a while to get over it.
Go talk to someone about it. You might think it wont help but it might give you a better handle on dealing with it.
Look on the positives that you are alive and not badly hurt, and live to fight another day, and try not to think about what bad could have been.
You have much more things in your life to be thankfull for and to experience ahead of you than to look at behind you so take this as an opportunity to live every day in the best way you can and be thankfull that you are able to do it.
Hope you can get your head sorted.

Yes, you're going to be in shock.... Be glad it wasn't more serious, make the most of your life, I'm sure it felt like a near death experience when you think what could have happened...
Get back in the car sooner rather than later or it'll get harder for you if you leave it too long... I wish you well in your recovery.... ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |
