What's the best gig you've ever been to and what's the First.

First gig ever was supposed to be Eminem but he cancelled so it was actually Papa Roach. Best gig ever would be Oxygen for Strokes and Artic Monkeys.

First Gig: Brendan shine, on the back of an articulated truck at the end of our local town sports/fete. I was about six,and it seemed good at the time (it was around the time of "do you want you old Lobby washed down" so he was quite the star to be visiting out local town.

Best Gig: that's a toughie. Probably David Bowie doing a greatest hits type gig in the Olympia a few years ago. It might not have been the nest in terms of the music (though it is right up there on the music front as well), but I'm chpoosing it as my best because I never thought i'd get to see him in such an intimate venue and singing some of his older songs. Leonard Cohen in Kilmainham a few years ago, and Prince in London run him close.

First was witness in 2000. Surprisingly, the best was PiL, a few years ago in the Button Factory.

I'm raging I never got to see Pantera, live.

How's about the most disappointing gig? For me, MF Doom in the Button Factory bout 5 years back (32mins n €40). Closely followed by Stone Roses at Heaton Park.

I was at that gig also was in the pitt all day waiting for them to arrive and when they did I could feel the tension between them all on stage, they broke up two weeks later, was a horrible day and iv seen them 12 times was possibly the worst time i ever seen them, there set was rushed, they weren't even checking tickets letting people in, was well over crowded...

Was a shit gig. I was just behind the Pitt at the barrier. They sucked. Yeah sure apparently they argued before the gig and that's why it turned out shit.

Prodigy were awesome though...

Some of the best I've been to

Metallica 96 and 99.

Megadeth in 95

Tool twice in 2001, again in 2006 and again in 2009.

Leeds 2002....go google the lineup for that, possibly the best festival lineup of the past 20 years.

Faith no more twice to...

....and that's only the ones I give a fuck about!
